Holy Week and Easter

Maundy Thursday, April 6     Simple Supper & Service of Tenebrae

We are excited to be able to return to our rich Maundy Thursday traditions—and also sad that logistics will limit these experiences to in-person participation only.

At 6 o’clock we’ll gather in the Dining Room for a shared supper of soup and bread. You don’t need to bring a thing. At 6:45 we’ll begin a quick clean-up and a silent transition to the Chapel for an intimate Service of Tenebrae, which will include Communion. (You may choose to attend only one portion of the evening; the service will begin at 7.)

Good Friday, April 7, noon          Zoom-Only Meditation

We will gather online for a reading of the Passion by our friends and to hear a reflection from Pastor Vicki. Here’s the Zoom link: http://bit.ly/3Z1ENqU

Easter Sunday, April 9, 10:30 a.m.     Joyful Hybrid Worship with Choir and Communion

Balloons! The First Church sanctuary looks like none other on Easter morning; our resurrection joy is symbolized by colorful balloons.

Easter Egg Hunt! Immediately after worship, children will be escorted outside to hunt for Easter treasure.
