
We are, and want to be even more fully, a church in which each of us sees ourselves as a steward of God’s bounty; in which each of us gives generously of our money, our time and our talents to the church. We want to steward our church’s financial, property, and personnel resources thoughtfully so that our congregation and our ministries in the world are enhanced. We want to increasingly be stewards of the natural world who individually and collectively contribute to the preservation and restoration of the environment.

Doris Peterson, Treasurer, and Hub Smith and Nancy Beswick, Assistant Treasurers. Our team sees that contributions to the church are promptly acknowledged, recorded, and made available for church expenses and mission purposes.
Doris Peterson and Carlton Brose work with all other groups in the church to develop each year's financial projections and proposed use of our resources.
Les Smith
Maintains the church building and grounds, oversees room assignments and space rentals.
George McGill
Maintains the Helen Mitchell House and is the contact group for relations with the tenants.
Ken Langley
Responsible for the sound system; also instructs people in its use.
Linda Smith
Publicizes and facilitates legacies and gifts to the church.
Carlton Brose
Oversees investments and recommends any changes for congregational vote.

Mary Taft
Responsible for planning and carrying out the annual pledge drive.
Louise Harper
Maintains records of employees, issues yearly contracts, advocates for employees and problem solves.
Larry Siddall
Acts as a conduit for communication between pastor and members of the congregation.
Maryelise Lamet
Organizes and carries out this event each November on the Saturday before Thanksgiving - November 22, 2008. The Cranberry Fair brings the First Church community together to start the holiday season in sharing our gifts, recycling goods and making foods and crafts to offer to the whole town community, while contributing significantly to the First Church budget. There is always room for new leadership, assistance, suggestions and energy.

Oversees and plans the Memorial Garden's plantings. Maintains records of those who want their ashes buried or scattered in the garden.Audit Ministry Team

Audits the church's financial records each year.
