Youth Group to visit Broad Street Ministry

The First Church Youth Group has focused its discussions and activities this year on the pervasive problems of homelessness and hunger.  They have worked at the free meals program, Not Bread Alone, toured the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, participated in an overnight visit in Worcester and toured the city on foot, and are raising funds for the June trip to Philadelphia.  There, the youth will assist in the many social service and hospitality programs of Broad Street Ministry.
