Cranberry Fair

Each November, since 1979, on the Saturday before Thanksgiving - November 21, 2009. The Cranberry Fair brings the First Church community together to start the holiday season in sharing our gifts, recycling goods and making foods and crafts to offer to the whole town community, while contributing significantly to the First Church budget. There is always room for new leadership, assistance, suggestions and energy. For more information please contact Maryelise Lamet or Savanna Ouellette

D'ye ken First Church Cranberry Fair
On Main Street in Amherst,
You'll want to be there
On November twenty-second, a day that is rare
At the height of the Cranberry season!

There's the Awesome Silent Auction
And the Gall'ry sure to please,

And books and toys for children,
And mittens, hats, and wreaths.
There'll be good used clothing
And some gifts from overseas
At the Cranberry Fair this season.

There'll be luncheon and tea

And jellies, jams, and cakes
And chocolate chip cookies
Like grandmother bakes,

And some genuine white elephants --
We guarantee no fakes,
At the Cranberry Fair this season.

So save the twenty-second from nine to three
For this super special fair!
We're sure you'll all agree!
Come to First Church Amherst,
You'll enjoy the company

For the happiest day of the season!
